Look who's 5 today!

We grabbed Noah's buddy Elijah and headed to the zoo on his birthday.

then we met daddy for lunch at Firehouse! (yes, Noah picked it!!)

then we played on an obstacle course in the youth bldg.

and ended our fun day at a fall festival with John Thomas (robin) and the rest of his family

Girl's Nite Out

The girls and I had a fun night out. We went to dinner then walked to the "Monster Bash" at the CDM. The kids dress-up and do different little activites and "earn" prizes. We saw lots of friends there and had a great time. (The boys are camping this weekend with the youth).

New Kitchen Colors

Tim's dad, Bruce, drove up from Florida to repaint the kitchen. I love the way it turned out! This is a good before shot. Here he is just getting started on the ceiling.

We did a little two-tone in the kitchen and dining room and made the dining room one shade darker. I love it! Thanks Bruce!!!

17 Months Old

Avery is 17 months old today, and she is now daddy's girl. For the first time, she starts to cry when Tim has to leave for work or if he can't hold her for a minute. It's really, really cute! She is understanding so much more now and can follow simple instructions. She is wildly independent, and loves to play with Noah and Anna and DO whatever they are doing. She loves to cheese for the camera and continues to be a delight. We love you Avery!

Papa's Visit

Our Papa came from Florida last weekend and brought Noah some birthday presents! Thanks Papa and Mimi. He also painted our kitchen! I love the new colors and will post some pictures of it soon!

Noah's Drawings

One of Noah's favorite things to do is to sit at the table and draw. Here are a few of my favorites from this past month. I can't believe he turns 5 this month!

His favorite one is "Monsters, Inc." my favorite is the butterflies he made for Anna. She waited so patiently for him to finish!
