Nash Vegas Tri

After a fun night of swimming in the hotel pool and eating dinner out, Tim raced in a Olympic distance tri--his first race back after the collarbone fracture. It was another beautiful day and we had so much fun cheering him on and playing by the river and at the park's playground.

Nashville Zoo

We went to the Zoo while in Nashville this weekend. It was such a fun, kid-friendly place. The kids loved seeing the elephants and giraffes! And the weather was gorgeous; we really couldn't have asked for a better day as a family!

Last Day at the Pool

With Labor Day over, our pool is officially closed for the year. It was a fun summer!

Avery's First Day of MDO

This past Thursday, Avery went to her first Mother's Day Out. It's funny how different things can be for the third child. When her teacher opened the door, she ran right in and didn't look back. When she got home, she was exhausted!

First Day of Mother's Day Out

On the first day of Mother's Day Out, Avery had strep throat and was still contagious. So, this is Anna waiting for her ride to Lookout Mountain Pres for MDO as it is called. She was so excited! She has a great group of girlfriends in her class this year and most have older brothers who are friends with Noah.

Doing homework...Noah said after the first few days that his favorite thing in school so far was that you get to draw something new each day!

As a part of the Criterium race in Chattanooga, Noah participated in the kid's bike race along with his good buddy, Bjorn. It was a hot day but he made it all the way around an entire lap of the race course.

Kindergarten!

on Anna's fourth birthday, Noah went to his first day of Kindergarten! he loves it and is learning so many new things...I still can't believe he's old enough to go to school! My sweet little boy is growing up.

it was at this moment when I snapped this shot of Noah walking in like a big boy, that I lost it! It finally hit me that he was really going to go to school and that he was now going to be here everyday, instead of at home with me! I am so happy for him and I know he loves it, but I was sad for me for a while!
