Fewer Pictures, Fewer Posts

Avery has changed overnight it seems. I have been busy just trying to keep up with her. She is everywhere and into everything so quickly! I followed her around with my camera to show all the fun things she is exploring...so no more explanation needed as to why there have been fewer pictures taken lately, and fewer posts!

9 Months Old

Avery turned 9 months old on Friday and at her check up today, she weighed 19 lbs 7 oz (50%) and was 28 1/4 in (75%) long. She's doing really well. She is pulling up on everything now, said her first word last week, "da-da" and can now wave at others to greet them. She is a delight to our family!

5 Shots and 2 Staples

Noah had his first big accident yesterday. He was running through the kitchen and caught the side of his head just right on the island countertop and put a pretty deep gash in the side of his head. Daddy took him to the doctor's office, and they had to give him 5 numbing shots and then 2 staples to keep it closed. He was very brave, and I'm sure that I was more traumatized than he was!

Our Trip to Jacksonville

While daddy studied, we played and played and played...and had so much fun with Nana and so many others!

In the Backyard

We had a picnic in the backyard. It was a beautiful day!

Winter Wonderland on the Southside

We were surprised by a winter blast of snow yesterday, and it was FUN!

Noah didn't stop playing in it and making snowballs--Anna and Avery were over it pretty quickly!

A Sunny Day at the Playground

On a beautiful winter afternoon, we headed over to the playground behind our house.
