Well, my sweet girl has short hair! And funny thing is, she didn't do it herself. Her mother thought it would be easy to give her a short little bob...ha ha ha! On the one side it is the perfect chin length I was going for...on the other side, well let's just say it's to her eye...oops! About halfway through the cut Anna, while watching cartoons, must have tilted her head a good bit so that when I looked up from the hair and adjusted her neck...it was too late. The damage was done! So it is very short and very uneven!
I felt terrible but walked her down the hallway anyway to let her look at it. When she saw it she said, "I look like a boy." Oh boy! I reassured her then while Anna wasn't around I asked Noah to tell her it looked beautiful. Which if you know Noah, is a very simple request to which he ALWAYS complies...sweet boy that he is. Well, not this time. When I looked at him and prompted him, he just looked at me with pathetic eyes and shook his head "no". I knew right then and there it was bad! We are all laughing about this now, but it was a bit tramatic for me then. Anna has no clue how uneven it is, and thankfully is completely unaware! As for me, I'm starting to get used to it and I even think it's cute. Though it will be much cuter when the other side grows out! But all that to say...lesson learned. I will never try to cut my children's hair again!! I will find better ways to save a little money :)
