First Field Trip in First Grade

I got to go on Noah's first field trip of the year to Ruby Falls. It was a fun place to go with first graders! Noah definitely enjoyed exploring the cave and being there with his friends.

 

 

 

 

Noah Playing Fall Ball

Noah really really wanted to play baseball again this fall. We tried to give a few different options, but he is in LOVE with baseball. He's in the 7/8 league now and is learning a lot about the fundamentals, especially getting outs.

and the girls enjoy being outside playing together. this is the first time that I'm actually watching the games now that Avery is old enough to stay put!! It's been really fun for me!

Letter of the Week

With Anna one year away from Kindergarten, we have begun our "Letter of the Week" crafts again. They both can't get enough of craft time so it's something we look forward each week. And Anna's pre-K class is going through the alphabet in order with one week for each letter, so it's easy for us to keep pace with them. A is for Alien, B is for Bumble Bee, and C is for Carrot. First Day of MDO 2012

 

the girls heading out to their first day of Mother's Day Out. Anna is in the Pre-Ks this year!! And so far she says her favorite days are her school days.

 

Avery is in the Puddle Jumpers class and has said her favorite part is getting to play on the playground twice each day!! I'm so glad our girls have this little time away from me to be with friends and to learn!

 

 

Nana's Visit in July

When Nana came for a visit, we went to the fountains at Coolidge Park.

 

 

And amazingly, she braved the heat and played soccer with Noah for a little while.

 

After lunch at one of the kid's favorite lunch spots, Jimmy John's. We miss you Nana!

 

First Day of First Grade

Here's Noah on his first day of first grade. He is loving first grade and so am I! Mrs. Calhoun is so sweet and has already made a connection with Noah because of their mutual love of the Braves!

 

For Her Birthday

For her birthday, she wore her new birthday dress to church.
